Safety in the Streets and the World at large.
There are some minor rules or tips of safety that create a safer secure world for you. I will attempt to give a short list for your security and safety.
The rules for the street are;
Walk
about with awareness. Know where you are going and what you are going to
do.
Avoid anger in public, stay calm and you will be safe.
When using an ATM. Check the surrounding area out, the ATM must be well lite. It must be viewable and in a public area. Be prepared to cancel any transaction when you are not comfortable. If you are approached by unknown persons who threaten you. Yell out, “Fire, Fire” as loud as possible. Get people to look your direction.
When driving your car keep all your doors locked until you are ready to leave the car. Carjackers always attack those with unlocked car doors. Especially when the driver's attention is focused on something else like the street lights, your radio, your cigarettes or kids in the back seat.
Never flash rolls of money or gold jewelry not even in a secured area like a Casino or the State Capitol.
Always keep your keys in one pocket. Your wallet in another pocket and your I.D. In your front pocket.
Always be alert, open your mind if you ever feel uncomfortable anywhere get out of there quickly. Get back to public comfortable safe places. Always trust your instincts.
Be brave and trustworthy in yourself. Feel secure in your life. If you see trouble, stay away, by getting away. Carry yourself as a Warrior make your body language speak well of you.
When in Rome don't do as the Romans do. Be careful, you don't know the area. area. Be comfortable wear soft, good favorite walking shoes.
Never, never walk about or jog about without hearing the sounds around you. Listen to the sounds in front and behind you. Avoid those music boxes or I-pods. Remember Listen to the World.
If you have to go to a public restroom. Remember the word public. Avoid public restrooms in empty areas of a building or mall. Find the restroom that really is public. Where everyone can see, who go's in and out. Go to public restroom in department stores with internal cctv surveillance cameras.
In public, always avoid alleys, dumpsters and fire-exits.
On the street always carry your wallet in your front pant pockets. This will keep pickpockets away from you.
Remember when you are threaten in a public area yell out “Fire, Fire” as loud as you can and repeated it louder and louder.
The lesson learned here is :
Always be prepared.
