In this new world of hidden spy cameras, changes appear almost daily. The latest change is that spy cameras now have their own internal video storage. In this new day, cameras no longer need wires. Cameras can be adjusted to improve clarity of the image or the can be adjusted to record for a longer time frame. Now cameras have no need for a transmitter and or a receiver. There is no more hassle with the DVR or VHS recorder or how much wire or cable to cut. No more worries about anything. Just install the camera turn it on and go. Some new cameras come with a digital motion sensor and an hour , date and time marker. Motion detection allows you a recording time of over 100 hours.
The video recordings can be used in court to convict workers who do theft. Recordings of these new cameras can be recorded in color via remote control to a GB SD card. When you are ready to watch the videos just plug the card into your computer's SD slot. It's so easy to do that your five year old can function as the operator.
With over a dozen such cameras available they are great for home, office, shop, and retail location. Such cameras are currently used by modern security companies and law enforcement.
Some months ago, I had a Latin American petroleum company call me about an internal security problem. It was noticed by inventory control that gasoline (in the amount of about 12,000 liters )was being stolen from one tank and in order to get access to the tank fuel certain security controls had to be turned off in the main control room. This event was happening every day for over a month. The storage areas centered around the production system and that function had over 40 employees. Authorized fuel was transferred only at a certain hour every day and only at that hour. After some explanation of procedures, I shipped them one of the new hidden camera wall clocks with the built in digital recorder with instructions on how to install it and its set up by security. The day after it's installation they had a recording of one of the production workers committing the illegal act of stealing the fuel. The company fuel tanker truck used was driven by his cousin who also worked at the plant. The camera had been set up on motion sensor with a high resolution for identification purposes.
Today, many companies and businesses have internal hidden cameras to protect their business, assets and documents. Majority of the cameras assist law enforcement in the conviction of an employee thief.
It may be that emergency light by the exits, that clock in the office, that smoke detector on the ceiling but there could be hidden cameras watching you. If you are in business it pays and saves you money to have such security cameras. In the not so distant past, surveillance cameras were only affordable to government. Now, anybody can afford them. Thousands of citizens everyday now check in on their businesses, their baby sitters, their homes and private offices via surveillance cameras through the INTERNET.
Small Business owners must use security technology such surveillance cameras to destroy the opportunities to steal or cheat by their employees. Hidden cameras can save you money and improve your annual profit margin. Hidden cameras can lower your insurance premiums. Remember put the cameras in plain sight, replace that clock on the wall and that fire exit sign over the door. Employees who know that there is a surveillance system in the building will be more honest. They will act responsible.
