Sometime back I wrote a post about a security guard in Southern Vera Cruz, Mexico that got hit by lighting while on guard duty along a oil pipeline. I was criticized by some readers who did not believe that the guard's weapon was hit by lighting (electricity) traveling down the pipe. In most recent news a American hunter's shotgun or rifle was hit by lighting and he was no where near a pipeline.
